SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Edward Joseph "Ed" Reilly of McHenry, who 
4passed away on March 26, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Ed Reilly was born to Charles and Aurelia Reilly 
6on April 10, 1950; he graduated from Wauconda High School in 
71968; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Ed Reilly worked for the Island Lake Police 
9Department  as Police and Fire Commissioner for 26 years; he was 
10a retired Wauconda fireman and retired from DHL; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Ed Reilly enjoyed spending time on his boat and 
12with his family; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Ed Reilly was preceded in death by his parents and 
14his first wife, Andrea Reilly; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Ed Reilly is survived by his wife, Trish; his 
16children, Eddie and Krystal; his stepdaughter, Kendra Logar; 
17his brothers, Charles (Ellen) and Thomas (Sandy) Reilly; his 
18mother-in-law, Linda Adams; his father-in-law, Frank Adams; 
19and his many nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Edward Joseph "Ed" Reilly and extend our sincere condolences to 
4his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Ed Reilly as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
