SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Richard L. "Dick" Lockwood Jr. of Crystal 
4Lake, who passed away on March 11, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Dick Lockwood Jr. was born to Richard Sr. and 
6Jeanette Lockwood on August 9, 1947; he graduated from Crystal 
7Lake Central in 1966; he served in Vietnam with the United 
8States Army; he married Linda in 1973; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Dick Lockwood Jr. was a longtime employee of 
10Curran Contracting in Crystal Lake; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Dick Lockwood Jr. enjoyed woodworking and 
12gardening; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Dick Lockwood Jr. was preceded in death by his 
14wife, Linda; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Dick Lockwood Jr. is survived by his sisters, 
16Susie (James) Smith and Bonnie (John) Enstrom; his children, 
17Jeffrey (Barbara) and Coreen; and his grandchildren, Hunter, 
18Zakery, Anthony, Daniella, and Alexandria; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Richard L. "Dick" Lockwood Jr. and extend our sincere 
3condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved

5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Dick Lockwood Jr. as an expression 
7of our deepest sympathy.
