SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Ralph G. Rockwell of Moline, who passed 
4away on March 17, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Ralph Rockwell was born in Macomb to Ghlee and 
6Margaret Inman Rockwell on January 10, 1930; he served in the 
7United States Air Force; he married Arbutus Miller in 1959; 
8after her death, he married Patricia Lagan Richey in 1979; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Ralph Rockwell retired from Sheet Metal Workers 
10Local 91 after 34 years of service; and
  
 

  
11    WHEREAS, Ralph Rockwell was preceded in death by his first 
12wife, Arbutus; his second wife, Patricia; and his siblings, 
13Charlotte Miller, Patricia Ellis, and Charles Rockwell; 
14therefore, be it
  
 
15    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
16ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
17Ralph G. Rockwell and extend our sincere condolences to his 
18family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
19further
  
 
20    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be

1presented to the family of Ralph Rockwell as an expression of 
2our deepest sympathy.
