SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of David R. Kenniston of Coal Valley, who 
4passed away on March 12, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, David Kenniston was born in Long Beach, California 
6to Frederic and Helen (Purcell) Kenniston on December 27, 1948; 
7he served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War; he 
8was previously married to Veronica Gilson; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, David Kenniston retired from the Rock Island 
10Arsenal in 2000, where he was a materials handler; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, David Kenniston was an avid race car fan; he loved 
12his children; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, David Kenniston was preceded in death by his 
14parents and his brother, Randy Westphal; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, David Kenniston is survived by his children, Sara, 
16Tara, Robert, and Richard Kenniston; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
19David R. Kenniston and extend our sincere condolences to his

1family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
