SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Alfred F. "Fred" Ballstaedt, who passed 
4away on February 18, 2019; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Fred Ballstaedt was born in Germany to Fredrich 
6and Erna (Paul) Ballstaedt on April 20, 1939; he married 
7Kathleen Albright at St. Mary's Catholic Church in McHenry on 
8June 17, 1961; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Fred Ballstaedt worked at T.C. Industries for 42 
10years and was an Executive Vice President of Engineering; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Fred Ballstaedt enjoyed carpentry and working on 
12the house; he was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings and 
13enjoyed golfing; he had a great sense of humor, loved his 
14family, and cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren; 
15and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Fred Ballstaedt was preceded in death by his 
17parents and his daughter-in-law, Tracy Ballstaedt; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Fred Ballstaedt is survived by his wife of 56 
19years, Kathleen; his children, Dan Ballstaedt, Anita (Jim) 
20Camara, Michael (Toni) Ballstaedt, and Frederick (Lori)

1Ballstaedt; his grandchildren, Toni, Jeff, Alyssa, Adam, 
2Julie, Kevin, Breana, Andrea, and Dustin; his 
3great-grandchildren, Kevin and Zach; and his sister, Irma 
4Sprung; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
7Alfred F. "Fred" Ballstaedt and extend our sincere condolences 
8to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be 
9it further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to the family of Fred Ballstaedt as an expression of 
12our deepest sympathy.
