| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Robert J. Willetts of Prophetstown, who |
| 4 | | passed away on January 6, 2018; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Robert Willetts was born in Kewanee to Albert and |
| 6 | | Myrtle Bates Willetts on October 10, 1926; he attended grade |
| 7 | | school in Kewanee and graduated from Kewanee High School; he |
| 8 | | served in the United States Army during World War II; he |
| 9 | | married Elaine J. Hepner in Kewanee on October 19, 1947; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Robert Willetts was employed by John Deere; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Robert Willetts was a member of the Prophetstown |
| 12 | | United Methodist Church, the Prophetstown American Legion, and |
| 13 | | the United Auto Workers; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Robert Willetts was preceded in death by his wife, |
| 15 | | Elaine; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Robert Willetts is survived by his daughter, Dawn |
| 17 | | Willetts; his son, Mark Willetts; his grandchildren, |
| 18 | | Christopher Maloof, Lyndsey Maloof, Jodi (Billy) Alligood, and |
| 19 | | Aaron (Jennifer) Maloof; his nine great-grandchildren; and his |
| 20 | | sister, Jean Orr; therefore, be it
