SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Robert "Bert" Rank of Woodstock, who 
4passed away on November 1, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Bert Rank was born in Awana, Wisconsin to Albert 
6and Agnes (Blome) Rank on May 26, 1936; he served in the United 
7States Army from 1959-1961; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Bert Rank worked at McHenry FS for 39 years and at 
9Plastic Coil for 15 years before he retired; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Bert Rank was loving father, husband, 
11grandfather, and great-grandfather; he will be deeply missed; 
12and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Bert Rank was preceded in death by his parents; 
14and his brother, Alvin Rank; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Bert Rank is survived by his wife, Carol; his 
16sons, Steve (Rumell), Scott, Shawn, and Shane (Beth) Rank; his 
17grandsons, Andrew (Vanessa), Brandon (Amanda), Christopher, 
18and Tyler; his great-grandson, Rylen; and his sister-in-law, 
19Judy Rank; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Robert "Bert" Rank and extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Bert Rank as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
