SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Howard Irwin Moulton of Dundee, who 
4passed away on October 24, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Howard Moulton was born in Elgin to J. Manley 
6Moulton and Lillian Mary Swift Moulton on February 28, 1921; he 
7graduated from Elgin High School in 1939; he then attended the 
8Illinois Institute in Chicago for two years; he married 
9Virginia Schaffter Moulton on August 1, 1946; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Howard Moulton was a veteran of the United States 
11Army; he served in Africa and Italy during World War II; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Howard Moulton was the Assistant Postmaster at the 
13old Dundee Post Office and owned his own business before 
14retiring; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Howard Moulton was preceded in death by his 
16brother, Paul Moulton; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Howard Moulton is survived by his wife, Virginia; 
18and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Howard Irwin Moulton and extend our sincere condolences to his 
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Howard Moulton as an expression of 
7our deepest sympathy.
