| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Refugio Munoz, who passed away on August |
| 4 | | 18, 2017; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Refugio Munoz was born on July 7, 1937, the oldest |
| 6 | | of ten children; he loved listening to music, dancing, and |
| 7 | | watching old cowboy shows; he was the best cook; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Refugio Munoz enjoyed spending time with his |
| 9 | | family; he took pride in his daughter, son-in-law, |
| 10 | | grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his godson; he loved |
| 11 | | animals, especially dogs and cats; he will be missed by many; |
| 12 | | and

| 13 | | WHEREAS, Refugio Munoz was the beloved husband of the late |
| 14 | | Anita; the loving father of Lupe (Bob) Munoz Hernandez; the |
| 15 | | loving son of the late Antonio and the late Guadalupe Munoz; |
| 16 | | the dear brother of Antonio (Jenny) Munoz Jr., Frank (Frances), |
| 17 | | Nina, Tina, Manuel (the late Carol), Carol (the late John), and |
| 18 | | Joe (Gracie); the cherished grandfather of Melissa and Sabrina; |
| 19 | | the great-grandfather of Michael, Karen, Alyssia, Angel, |
| 20 | | Alexis, the late Anita, Gina, and Olivia; and the |
| 21 | | great-great-grandfather of Sarah and Nino; therefore, be it
