SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Cheryl Ann Ross of Waukegan, who passed 
4away on August 5, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Cheryl Ross was born in Chicago on January 29, 
61955 and was a longtime area resident; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Cheryl Ross formerly worked at the Mathews 
8Employment Agency; for the last 18 years, she worked at HR 
9Advantage; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Cheryl Ross was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic 
11Parish in Waukegan; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Cheryl Ross was preceded in death by her husband, 
13Bobby Ross; her father, John Sherman; and her brother-in-law, 
14Ed Ross; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Cheryl Ross is survived by her daughter, Katie 
16Ross; her grandson, Marvin Ross; her mother-in-law, Lois Ross 
17Burkett; her brothers, Peter and Nick Sherman; and numerous 
18nieces, nephew, and dear friends; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Cheryl Ann Ross, and extend our sincere condolences to her
