| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Paula Ballin, of Highland Park, who |
| 4 | | passed away on July 17, 2017; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Paula Ballin loved to travel and was the owner of |
| 6 | | Far Horizons, Inc., a travel agency; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Paula Ballin was the beloved wife of Donald; the |
| 8 | | loving mother of Michelle (Daniel) Schmidt, Tracy Ballin, and |
| 9 | | Vicki (Howard) Patner; adored grammy of Scott Caldwell, Joseph |
| 10 | | (Holly Hasper), and Andrew (Mallory) Schmidt, and Tyler Patner; |
| 11 | | proud great-grandmother of Jasper and Dashiel; devoted |
| 12 | | daughter of the late Joseph and Florence Druth; cherished |
| 13 | | sister of Deena (late Martin) Pink; dear sister-in-law of |
| 14 | | Marjorie (late Robert) Burke; and a treasured aunt and friend |
| 15 | | to many; therefore, be it

| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL |
| 17 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
