SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Dorothy A. Miller of Cary, who passed 
4away on June 19, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Dorothy Miller was born in Elgin to Julian and 
6Cora Dvorak on May 29, 1937; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Dorothy Miller owned and operated the Lake Julian 
8Trout Farm in Cary; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Dorothy Miller was a longtime member of the Cary 
10Chamber Board of Directors; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Dorothy Miller was preceded in death by her 
12parents; her husband, Delbert Miller;  and her  brother, Robert 
13Dvorak; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Dorothy Miller is survived by her sons, Robert 
15(Anna May) Miller and David (Andrea) Miller; her grandchildren, 
16Rebecca (Derek) Lee, Bobby Miller, Mallory (Andrew) 
17Rosencrans, Christina (Alan) Anderson, and David J. (Jeanette) 
18Miller; and 11 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Dorothy A. Miller, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it

5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to  the family of  Dorothy Miller as an expression of 
7our deepest sympathy.
