SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Lester A. Jarvis of East Moline, who 
4passed away on June 4, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Lester Jarvis was born in Chicago to LeRoy Sr. and 
6Lessie (Smith) Jarvis on July 15, 1961; he married Anja Schulz 
7in Killeen, Texas on December 14, 1994; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Lester Jarvis worked as a fork lift operator for 
9the Rock Island Arsenal for 17 years; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Lester Jarvis enjoyed sports, listening to old 
11school music, and being with friends and family; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Lester Jarvis was preceded in death by his 
13parents; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Lester Jarvis is survived by his wife, Anja; his 
15children, Telicia Jarvis, Jamal Jarvis, and Shania Jarvis; five  
16grandchildren; and his sisters, Sandra Jarvis and Carol Jarvis; 
17therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Lester A. Jarvis, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
2family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
