SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Ceal C. Ehlenburg of Woodstock, who 
4passed away on May 1, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ceal Ehlenburg was born in Piqua, Kansas to Herman 
6and Ann (Sundrop) Koester on September 20, 1928; she married 
7Harold Ehlenburg  in Woodstock on May 10, 1963; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Ceal Ehlenburg worked at the Emerson Typewriter 
9Factory in Woodstock for over 25 years; she then went to  work 
10at the Guardian Electric Manufacturing Company; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Ceal Ehlenburg was a member of Saint Mary Catholic 
12Church in Woodstock; she enjoyed the simple things in life and 
13always enjoyed spending time with her loving family, especially 
14her nephew, Ron (Nancy) Porter; and

  
 
15    WHEREAS, Ceal Ehlenburg was preceded in death by her 
16parents and her loving husband, Harold; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Ceal Ehlenburg is survived by her sisters, Mary 
18Ann Porter, Ruth Lampe, and Eleanor Platte, and many nieces and 
19nephews; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Ceal C. Ehlenburg, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
5further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Ceal Ehlenburg as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
