| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Billy Lee Franklin of Gurnee, who passed |
| 4 | | away on April 27, 2017; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Billy Franklin was born in Hollandale, |
| 6 | | Mississippi on October 21, 1947; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Billy Franklin is survived by his wife; his |
| 8 | | children; and a host of other relatives and friends; therefore, |
| 9 | | be it
|
| 10 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL |
| 11 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 12 | | Billy Lee Franklin, and extend our sincere condolences to his |
| 13 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
| 14 | | further

| 15 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 16 | | presented to the family of Billy Franklin as an expression of |
| 17 | | our deepest sympathy.
