| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Thomas Strauss, who passed away at the |
| 4 | | age of 78; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Thomas Strauss was preceded in death by his |
| 6 | | parents, Bernard and Marge Strauss, and his sister-in-law, June |
| 7 | | Strauss; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Thomas Strauss is survived by his wife of over 50 |
| 9 | | years, Marilyn; his sons, Brad and Jeff Strauss; his |
| 10 | | grandchildren, Allison, Julia, and Carley Strauss; and his |
| 11 | | brother, Raymond; therefore, be it
|
| 12 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL |
| 13 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 14 | | Thomas Strauss, and extend our sincere condolences to his |
| 15 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
| 16 | | further

| 17 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 18 | | presented to the family of Thomas Strauss as an expression of |
| 19 | | our deepest sympathy.
