| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Louis S. Kahnweiler, who passed away at |
| 4 | | the age of 97; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Louis Kahnweiler was the founder of Bennett & |
| 6 | | Kahnweiler, an industrial real estate company that developed |
| 7 | | Centex Industrial Park and 25 industrial parks across the |
| 8 | | country, he served as President of the District 108 School |
| 9 | | Board in Highland Park, and on the board of directors of the |
| 10 | | Highland Park Hospital, Exchange National Bank of Chicago, and |
| 11 | | Roosevelt University; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Louis Kahnweiler was preceded in death by his |
| 13 | | brother, Albert Kahnweiler; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Louis Kahnweiler was the beloved husband of 69 |
| 15 | | years of the late Ruth (Markus); the father of Nancy (Ben) |
| 16 | | Randall, William (Jennifer) Kahnweiler, and Kathy Kahnweiler; |
| 17 | | the grandfather of Jeffrey (Anya) Randall, Nick Randall, Katy |
| 18 | | Randall, Lindsey (Adam) Goldberg, and Jessie Kahnweiler; and |
| 19 | | the great-grandfather of Ava and Millie Goldberg; therefore, be
