SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Ann E. Franklin of Peoria, who passed 
4away on March 10, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Ann Franklin was born in Peoria to William H. and 
6Mary (Haas) Franklin on June 4, 1944; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Ann Franklin worked as a public relations officer 
8for The American Red Cross; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Ann Franklin was preceded in death by her parents; 
10and

  
 
11    WHEREAS, Ann Franklin is survived by two brothers, William 
12(Gloria) Franklin and Robert (Sheri) Franklin; one sister, Mary 
13Jo Franklin; one niece, two nephews, two grand-nieces, and one 
14grand-nephew; therefore, be it
  
 
15    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
16ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
17Ann E. Franklin, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
18family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it

1    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
2presented to the family of Ann Franklin as an expression of our 
3deepest sympathy.
