SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Robert A. "Bob" Finger of Crystal Lake, 
4who passed away on February 27, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Finger was born in Chicago to Theodore and 
6V. Dorothy (Smiley) Finger on August 23, 1952, and he spent 
7most of his life in McHenry County; he also lived in Crystal 
8Lake and Algonquin; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Robert Finger was a longtime faithful employee of 
10the Black Dot Group; he was a member of the Friends of the 
11Crystal Lake Library and the Crystal Lake Computer Club; he 
12enjoyed computers and all types of technology; he was also an 
13avid music lover and vinyl collector; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Robert Finger was preceded in death by his father, 
15Theodore Finger, Sr. and his paternal and maternal 
16grandparents; and

  
 
17    WHEREAS, Robert Finger is survived by his sons, Jonathan 
18and Daniel; his former wife and friend, Shari Hahn Finger; his 
19mother, Dorothy; his brothers, Ted, Jr. (Gloria), Jim (Jane), 
20Mike, Tom (the late Diane), and Pat (Sue) Finger; his sisters, 
21Sandy (Dan) Kaiser and Karen (Bob) Gray; and many nieces,

1nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as many good and 
2faithful friends; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
5Robert A. "Bob" Finger, and extend our sincere condolences to 
6his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
7further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Robert Finger as an expression of 
10our deepest sympathy.
