| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Lillian R. Hervert of Bull Valley, who |
| 4 | | passed away on March 4, 2017; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Lillian Hervert was born in Chicago to Rose |
| 6 | | (Masek) and Frank Rezabek on June 23, 1921; her childhood was |
| 7 | | rich in Czech heritage; she graduated from Riverside Brookfield |
| 8 | | High School and was voted most artistic by her class; she |
| 9 | | married George Hervert in Dr. Preston Bradley's study in The |
| 10 | | Peoples Church of Chicago on November 23, 1946; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Lillian Hervert was a talented artist; she |
| 12 | | excelled in drawing, painting, and sculpture; she was a |
| 13 | | lifelong learner, an avid reader, and a master gardener; she |
| 14 | | enjoyed horseback riding and created a natural landscape at her |
| 15 | | home; she served on the Village of Bull Valley Planning |
| 16 | | Commission and was a member of the Bull Valley Garden Club; and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Lillian Hervert was preceded in death by her |
| 18 | | husband and her sister Esther (George) Cleland; and
|
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Lillian Hervert is survived by her children, Jan |
| 20 | | (Judy) Hervert, Jean (David) Niemann, and Ken (Karen) Hervert; |
| 21 | | and her five grandchildren, Bryce, Erik, and Alyssa Hervert, |
