SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Anna Mae "Ann" Link of Carlinville, who 
4passed away on March 13, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Anna Link was born in Chicago on May 15, 1933 to 
6Benjamin and Rose (Jasinski) Piascik; she graduated from St. 
7Mary of Perpetual Help in Chicago
and married Charles Glenn 
8Link at St. Joseph Catholic
Church in Carlinville on May 23, 
91951; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Anna Link worked for Area Heating and Cooling in 
11Carlinville as a bookkeeper; she also worked for Tri-City 
12Grocery, Taylor's Chili Parlor, Rosentreter Body
Shop, and as a 
13bookkeeper and a clerk for the Secretary of State in 
14Springfield; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Anna Link was a member of Ss.
Mary and Joseph 
16Catholic Church in Carlinville; she loved music, dancing, 
17roller skating, traveling,
and canning; she  was a past member 
18of the Catholic Daughters of America and Sweet Adeline; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Anna Link was preceded in death by her husband, 
20Charles; her parents; her grandchildren, Jill and Jennifer

21Beanblossom, and Jacob Link, and her sisters, Nancy Barley,

Piascik; and
  
 
2    WHEREAS, Anna Link is survived by her children, Stephen 
3Link, Cheryl (Gerry) Beanblossom, Alan Link, Roger (Lisa) Link, 
4and Frank
(Debra) Link; her  grandchildren, Sarah (Jason) 
5Boente, Kate (Andy) Stehl, Emily
Beanblossom, Brandon Link, 
6David Link, Adam Link, Kallie Link, Chad Link, and Kristin 
7Link; her
great-grandchildren; her step-sisters, Shirley and 
8Doris Falter;  and several nieces and
nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
11Anna Mae "Ann" Link, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
12family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
13further
  
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
15presented to  the family of  Anna Link as an expression of our 
16deepest sympathy.
