SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Turner Augusta Lovelace of Waukegan, who 
4passed away on February 21, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Turner Lovelace was born in Florence, Alabama on 
6August 3, 1925; he later moved to North Chicago; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Turner Lovelace was an employee at Abbott 
8Laboratories for over 40 years; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Turner Lovelace was a longtime member of Trinity 
10AME Church in Waukegan; and
  
 
  
11    WHEREAS, Turner Lovelace is survived by his wife, Greta 
12Lovelace, and numerous family members and friends; therefore, 
13be it
  
 
14    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
15ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
16Turner Augusta Lovelace, and extend our sincere condolences to 
17his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
18further
  
 
19    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
