| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Ralph B. Hipenbecker Jr. of Crystal Lake, |
| 4 | | who passed away on February 2, 2017 at the age of 80; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Ralph Hipenbecker Jr. served in the United States |
| 6 | | Army as a Private Second Class in Korea with the 6th Armored |
| 7 | | Division; he worked as a registered barber for many years at |
| 8 | | the Plaza Barber Shop; he was then employed as a tool and die |
| 9 | | maker at Tri-Cast Corp, both in Crystal Lake; he retired in |
| 10 | | 2001; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Ralph Hipenbecker Jr. enjoyed bowling, boating, |
| 12 | | dancing, billiards, fishing, and country music; his two |
| 13 | | favorite teams were the Green Bay Packers and the World |
| 14 | | Champion Chicago Cubs; he was a parishioner at St. Thomas the |
| 15 | | Apostle Catholic Church in Crystal Lake; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Ralph Hipenbecker Jr. was preceded in death by his |
| 17 | | wife, Mary (Novinska) Hipenbecker; his sister, Barbara (Fred) |
| 18 | | Stepper; and his parents; and
|
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Ralph Hipenbecker Jr. is survived by his children, |
| 20 | | Annette (Michael Sr.) Barrett, Bob (Cheri) Hipenbecker, Diane |
| 21 | | (Jim Sabel) Hipenbecker, and Lisa (Steve) Amidei; and his |
