SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Mary "Polly" Kroger Homan of Langhorne, 
4Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 15, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Mary Homan was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to 
6Willamay W. Benton and David K. Homan on January 14, 1950; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Mary Homan spent her life living at Woods 
8Services, where, thanks to her loving and vigilant caregivers, 
9she was able to thrive and enjoy many  pleasures in life, such 
10as music; and
  
 
  
11    WHEREAS, Mary Homan was preceded in death by her parents; 
12and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Mary Homan is survived by her sister, Susan 
14(Robert) Homan Friedlander; her half-sisters, Mia Homan (Bram 
15Fierstein), and Madeleine (Scott) Homan Blanchard; her nieces, 
16Anne Kimball, Jennifer (Jack) Brown, Madeleine Fierstein 
17(Michael Anastasia), and Hannah Hickok; and her nephews, David 
18Kimball, Atticus Hickok, and Nathaniel Fierstein; therefore, 
19be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Mary "Polly" Kroger Homan, and extend our sincere condolences 
3to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be

5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to  the family of  Mary Homan as an expression of our 
7deepest sympathy.
