SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Chad A. Becker of Elmhurst, who passed 
4away on November 16, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Chad Becker was born on April 14, 1973; he grew up 
6in Broadview, climbing trees and playing Star Wars; he 
7graduated from St. Ignatius College Prep, the University of 
8Chicago, and Loyola
University Chicago School of Law; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Chad Becker was a longtime IT professional before 
10becoming a lawyer; and
  
 

  
11    WHEREAS, Chad Becker was the beloved husband of Karen M. 
12Lualhati;
the loving father of Jackson and Caroline; the 
13devoted son of Dr. Alan and Andrea Becker; the dear brother of 
14Kirk,
Stephanie (Greg) Piotrowski, and Blythe (Tyler) Bowlus; 
15the fond uncle of Nadia and Llyana Becker; the dear son-in-law

16of Deo and Josie Lualhati; the dear brother-in-law of Michael 
17and Reggie Lualhati; and the caring uncle of
Ava Lualhati; 
18therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
21Chad A. Becker, and extend our sincere condolences to his

1family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
