SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of John C. Donnewald of McHenry, who passed 
4away on December 10, 2016 at the age of 65; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, John Donnewald was born in Des Moines, Iowa to 
6Dwight and Mary Donnewald on July 30, 1951; he attended Boylan 
7and East High School; he joined the United States Air Force and 
8served during the Vietnam War; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, John Donnewald received his Bachelor of Arts in 
10Psychology; he worked for multiple nuclear plants at the start 
11of his career and went on to work many jobs in the IT industry; 
12and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, John Donnewald was a member of the American Legion 
14in Lake in the Hills, as well as the VFW and Polish Legion of 
15American Veterans in McHenry; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, John Donnewald was preceded in death by his 
17parents, Dwight and Mary; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, John Donnewald is survived by his children, 
19Lindsay Donnewald, Riley Donnewald, Maxwell Donnewald, Heidi 
20(Kevin) McCullough, and Stacy Buerger; his ten grandchildren;

1his siblings, Dwight (Sue) Donnewald Jr., Colleen (David) West, 
2Mona (Jim Bochat) Donnewald, and Kevin (Debra) Donnewald; his 
3numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
6family and friends, mourn the passing of John C. Donnewald, and 
7extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all 
8who knew and loved him; and be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of John Donnewald as an expression of 
11our deepest sympathy.
