AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2579




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2579 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 
 
4    "Section 5. The Juvenile Court Act of 1987 is amended  by 
5changing Section 1-18 as follows:
 



6    (705 ILCS 405/1-18)



7    Sec. 1-18. Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority 
8Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts; report. The

9Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority Administrative 
10Office of the Illinois Courts shall study the fiscal impact
of 
11the implementation of Public Act 100-285 upon probation 
12departments. The Illinois Criminal Justice Information 
13Authority may 90-590 (the Juvenile Justice Reform
Provisions of 
141998) which is under its authority and submit a report of that

15study to the General Assembly within 12 months after the 
16enactment of this amendatory that
Act of the 100th General

1Assembly.  The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority 
2Administrative Office may, in addition to other requests, make

request for funding of the implementation of that Act.
