| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by |
| 5 | | changing Section 355 as follows:
|

| 7 | | Sec. 355.
Accident
and
and health policies-Provisions.)
No |
| 8 | | policy of insurance against loss or damage from the sickness, |
| 9 | | or from
the bodily injury or death of the insured by accident |
| 10 | | shall be issued or
delivered to any person in this State until |
| 11 | | a copy of the form thereof and
of the classification of risks |
| 12 | | and the premium rates pertaining thereto
have been filed with |
| 13 | | the Director; nor shall it be so issued or delivered
until the |
| 14 | | Director shall have approved such policy pursuant to the |
| 15 | | provisions
of Section 143. If the Director
disapproves the |
| 16 | | policy form he shall make a written decision stating the
|
| 17 | | respects in which such form does not comply with the |
| 18 | | requirements of law
and shall deliver a copy thereof to the |
| 19 | | company and it shall be unlawful
thereafter for any such |
| 20 | | company to issue any policy in such form. |
