| 3 | replacing lines 21 through 24 as follows:

| 4 | "Section has occurred. When such a transfer occurs, the | ||||||
| 5 | assessor shall mail a notice to the new owner of the property | ||||||
| 6 | (i) informing the new owner that the exemption will remain in | ||||||
| 7 | place through the year of the transfer, after which it will be | ||||||
| 8 | cancelled".
