2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1682, on page 8, 
3line 6, by deleting "either"; and


 
4on page 8, line 8, by replacing "1989 or" with "1989,"; and
 
5on page 8, by replacing lines 10 and 11 with "engineer 
6technology or fire alarm system, or have completed an 
7apprenticeship as a journeyman electrician or technician from 
8an electrical apprenticeship and training program registered 
9with the United States Department of Labor that includes fire 
10alarm systems and received a certification of satisfactory 
11completion."; and
 
12on page 8, by replacing line 15 with "higher person or have 
13completed an apprenticeship as a journeyman electrician or 
14technician from an electrical apprenticeship and training 
15program registered with the United States Department of Labor
