| 6 | | this Section shall prevent a person from seeking a right of |
| 7 | | action for a violation of the Biometric Information Privacy Act |
| 8 | | or otherwise seeking relief under the Code of Civil |
| 9 | | Procedure."; and

| 10 | | on page 10, by replacing lines 13 through 16 with the |
| 11 | | following:

| 12 | | "(d) Nothing in this Act shall be construed to apply to any |
| 13 | | State agency, federal agency, unit of local government, or any
|
| 14 | | contractor, subcontractor, or agent thereof, when working for |
| 15 | | that State agency, federal agency, or unit of local government. |
