| 1 | | AN ACT concerning regulation.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Dead Animal Disposal Act is amended |
| 5 | | by adding Section 3 as follows:

| 6 | | (225 ILCS 610/3 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 3. Exemption from Act. A collection center to collect |
| 8 | | cooking grease or cooking oil from the public hosted by a |
| 9 | | not-for-profit organization exempt from federal income taxes |
| 10 | | under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or a |
| 11 | | government entity is exempt from the registration, licensure, |
| 12 | | fee, and reporting requirements under this Act.

| 13 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 14 | | becoming law.
