AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1086




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1086 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 
4    "Section 5. The Emergency Management Assistance Compact 
5Act is amended  by changing Section 10 as follows:
 
6    (45 ILCS 151/10)
7    Sec. 10. Reimbursements and expenses. The Illinois 
8Emergency Management Agency as the authorized representative 
9of the State may use the Disaster Response and Recovery Fund to 
10deposit any reimbursements received from a party state and to 
11pay any expenses incurred relating to this Act. Upon the 
12request for and acceptance of assistance of the Illinois 
13National Guard by a party state, the Governor may transfer 
14available funds as needed to the Illinois National Guard State 
15Active Duty Fund in order to support the salaries and costs of 
16soldiers on Illinois State Active Duty status.  The funds

1transferred to the Illinois National Guard State Active Duty 
2Fund shall be reimbursed upon receipt of funds from the party 
3state by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency.
