| 4 | on page 6, line 15, after "procedure.", by inserting | ||||||
| 5 | "Neurophysiologic intraoperative monitoring does not include | ||||||
| 6 | testing and interpretation of test results using | ||||||
| 7 | electrodiagnostic modalities to monitor the spinal cord, | ||||||
| 8 | peripheral nerves (other than the seventh and eighth cranial | ||||||
| 9 | nerve), cerebral hemispheres, or brainstem."; and
| ||||||
| 10 | on page 8, immediately below line 7, by inserting the | ||||||
| 11 | following: | ||||||
| 12 | "(h) The performance of neurophysiologic intraoperative | ||||||
| 13 | monitoring of the seventh and eighth cranial nerve by an | ||||||
| 14 | individual certified by the American Board of Registration of | ||||||
| 15 | Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists as | ||||||
| 16 | Certified in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring only | ||||||

| 7 | by replacing line 14 on page 38 through line 1 on page 39 with | ||||||

| 9 | "(b) The terms "audiology", "audiologist", "clinical | ||||||
| 10 | audiologist", "licensed audiologist", "speech-language | ||||||
| 11 | pathology", "speech-language pathologist", "clinical | ||||||
| 12 | speech-language pathologist", "licensed speech-language | ||||||
| 13 | pathologist", or any other similar term, title, abbreviation, | ||||||
| 14 | or symbol that may indicate that the person is licensed under | ||||||
| 15 | this Act shall not be used by any person in any communication | ||||||
| 16 | that advertises services regulated under this Act unless he or | ||||||
| 17 | she is licensed under this Act as a speech-language pathologist | ||||||
| 18 | or an audiologist. An audiologist may".
