| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Wildlife Code is amended by changing Section |
| 5 | | 3.1-2 as follows:
|

Veterans who, according to the

| 8 | | determination of the Veterans'
Administration as certified by |
| 9 | | the Department of Veterans' Affairs, are
at least 10% disabled |
| 10 | | with service-related disabilities or in receipt of
total |
| 11 | | disability pensions may hunt any of the species protected by |
| 12 | | Section
2.2, during such times, with such devices and by such |
| 13 | | methods as are permitted
by this Act, without procuring hunting |
| 14 | | licenses, on the condition that their
respective disabilities |
| 15 | | do not prevent them from hunting in a manner which
is safe to |
| 16 | | themselves and others. |
