HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Alex Bussen on achieving 
4the rank of Eagle Scout on November 26, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Alex Bussen is a member of Boy Scouts of America 
6Troop 497; he is a junior at Conant High School in Hoffman 
7Estates; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, For his Eagle Scout project, Alex Bussen provided 
9cost-free, high-quality musical instruments to junior high 
10students in his community; in little less than a year, he 
11delivered 21 violins, trumpets, trombones, flutes, and 
12clarinets at no cost to the students of School District 54; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, As part of his involvement with Scouting, Alex 
14Bussen was a part of National Youth Leadership Training, which 
15helps impart the skills needed to be a good leader; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Alex Bussen is also involved with the Schaumburg 
17Youth Orchestra; it was his passion for music that gave him his 
18idea for his Eagle Scout project; therefore, be it
  
 
  
19    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
20HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we

1congratulate Alex Bussen on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, 
2and we wish him the best in all his future endeavors; and be it
