HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Lydia Krywaruczenko on the occasion of her upcoming retirement on December 31, 2018 and thank her for her 34 years of service as a legislative aide and district director in the Illinois House and Senate; and

WHEREAS, Lydia Krywaruczenko has served as a legislative aide and district director for multiple members of the Illinois House and Senate from 1984 until 2018; and

WHEREAS, Lydia Krywaruczenko's service to the House and Senate Republican caucuses began in 1984 when she was hired as the legislative aide and district director for State Representative Thomas McCracken; she worked for Representative McCracken from 1984 until 1992 in the House and in 1993 in the Senate; and

WHEREAS, Lydia Krywaruczenko then worked as the legislative aide and district director for State Senator Kirk Dillard from 1993 until 2014; upon Senator Dillard's retirement, she worked for State Senator Chris Nybo in 2014; and

WHEREAS, Lydia Krywaruczenko continued her legislative service with great distinction with State Representative Peter Breen from 2015 until 2018; and

WHEREAS, Lydia Krywaruczenko has proven to be exceptionally skilled in helping constituents find solutions to their problems involving state agencies, remaining calm under pressure, and applying logical, focused, and objective thinking during challenging situations; and

WHEREAS, Lydia Krywaruczenko has worked with thousands of constituents on a wide variety of issues in a friendly and expedient manner, on behalf of Representatives and Senators for whom she worked, and she has mentored dozens of other legislative aides as they sought to serve their members; and

WHEREAS, Lydia Krywaruczenko has been a valued and beloved servant to the people of Illinois and to the Illinois House and Senate Republican Caucuses; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Lydia Krywaruczenko on a job well done, further congratulate her on her upcoming retirement as a legislative aide and district director for the Illinois House and Senate Republican Caucuses, and wish her the very best in all of her future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Lydia Krywaruczenko as an expression of our esteem and respect.
