HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Luca Corso on achieving 
4the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank and most coveted 
5honor in Scouting; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Luca Corso is a member of St. Hubert Boy Scout 
7Troop 399 in Hoffman Estates; through his dedication and hard 
8work, he has demonstrated that he lives by the
principles of 
9the Scout Oath and Law in his daily life; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, An Eagle Service
Project is required to be of 
11significant value to the community; for his project, Luca Corso 
12chose to make lap boards for AMITA Health Alexian Brothers  
13Women and Children's Hospital in Hoffman Estates; these boards 
14are useful for reading, coloring, and numerous other 
15activities; he spent nearly 70 hours working on the boards and 
16donated 15 of them to the hospital; he completed his project 
17with the assistance of the Michael S. DeLarco Foundation; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Luca Corso sets a fine example for his peers and 
19friends through his leadership, hard work, and
commitment; and
  
 
20    WHEREAS, Luca Corso graduated from St. Edward Central 
21Catholic High School; he plans to attend Michigan State

1University and study criminal justice; and
  
 
2    WHEREAS, Luca Corso will be recognized at the Eagle Court 
3of Honor on August 19, 2018 at St. Hubert Catholic Church; 
4therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
6HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
7congratulate Luca Corso on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, 
8and we wish him the best in all his future endeavors; and be it 
9further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to Luca Corso as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
