HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives were saddened to learn of the
death of Private 
4First Class Tyler Iubelt of Tamaroa, who passed away on 
5November 12, 2016,
from injuries sustained in the defense of 
6our nation while serving at Bagram Air Field in
Afghanistan; 
7and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, PFC Iubelt was a 2011 graduate of Tamaroa Grade 
9School and a 2015 graduate of
Pinckneyville Community High 
10School in Perry County; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, PFC Iubelt enlisted in the United States Army just 
12after graduating high school and was deployed to Afghanistan in 
13September of 2016 in support of Operation Freedom's Sentinel 
14with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Special Troops 
15Battalion, 1st Sustainment Brigade, 1st Calvary Division based 
16at Ford Hood, Texas; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, As news spread of PFC Iubelt's loss, he was 
18remembered by friends in Perry County
for his good sense of 
19humor and happy personality, his love of sports, especially 
20basketball, and
his devotion to his family and community; and
  
 
  
21    WHEREAS, PFC Iubelt is survived by his wife, Shelby; his

1daughter,  Violet; his
parents, Michael Iubelt and Charlotte 
2Loquasto; and his family and friends in Southern Illinois
and 
3Indiana; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
5HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
6mourn the death of Private First Class Tyler Iubelt, and extend

7our sincere condolences to his family, friends and all who knew 
8and loved him; and be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of PFC Iubelt as an
expression of our 
11deepest sympathy.
