HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Denbur, Inc. of Westmont 
4on receiving the State of Illinois 2018 Exporter of the Year 
5award on May 24, 2018; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Denbur, Inc. also received this award in 2014 and 
72016; in 2017, it received the U.S. Small Business 
8Administration's 2017 Exporter of the Year Award; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Denbur, Inc. was established in 1979 as a 
10consulting firm for a number of European dental manufacturers; 
11in
1990, it introduced innovative new products to the North 
12American dental market, including MultiBrush
Original Blue, 
13Light-Tip, and Fracfinder; in 1999, it  began manufacturing new 
14and modified
products, including Magic-Brush, Nano-Brush, 
15C-Flow, Profiler, and Pure Brush; in 2003, it began

16manufacturing OEM and private label product lines for 
17manufacturers of dental solutions worldwide; as of
2018, it 
18sells to 42 countries around the world; besides the dental 
19market, they  also sell to the hobby industry, beauty industry, 
20and consumer market; and
  
 
21    WHEREAS, Denbur, Inc. is a woman-owned business; Monica 
22Maissami is
president and her son, Sean, is vice president; the

1founder, Fari Maissami, passed away in July of 2017, but his 
2spirit lives on; therefore, be it
  
 

  
3    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
4HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
5congratulate Denbur, Inc. on receiving the State of Illinois 
62018 Exporter of the Year award, and we wish them many more 
7successful years; and be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to Denbur, Inc. as a symbol of our respect and 
10esteem.
