HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Rick Vallejo on the 
4occasion of his retirement from the Lincolnshire Fire 
5Department after over 29 years of service; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Rick Vallejo joined the Lincolnshire Fire 
7Department in March of 1989; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Rick Vallejo was instrumental in organizing 
9Lincolnshire Firefighters Local 4224; he has been a leader to 
10both Local 4224 and the department; he is a prime example of 
11how to treat everyone with respect
and show compassion each and 
12every day; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Rick Vallejo has mentored every single member of 
14the fire department and
shown them all how to stay calm under 
15pressure while delivering the highest level of service and 
16skill possible; he has taught
every fellow department member 
17how to be better
firefighter; and
  
 
  
18    WHEREAS, Rick Vallejo has left his mark on the
department 
19and the community and will now enjoy a much deserved 
20retirement; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
2HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
3congratulate Rick Vallejo on his retirement from the 
4Lincolnshire Fire Department after over 29 years of service, 
5and we wish him the best in all his future endeavors; and be it

7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to Rick Vallejo as a symbol of our respect and 
9esteem.
