HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The University of Illinois is one of the world's 
3best research institutions; and
  
 
4    WHEREAS, The University has campuses in Chicago, 
5Urbana-Champaign, and Springfield; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Undergraduate students at all three campuses 
7engage in research on cutting-edge topics under the guidance of 
8their professors; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Thirty of these students will be making poster 
10presentations about their research at the fourth University of 
11Illinois Undergraduate Day in the State Capitol on April 26, 
122018; and
  
 
  
13    WHEREAS, The students have received excellent guidance 
14from staff and faculty at the three campuses in preparation for 
15this day; therefore, be it
  
 
16    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
17HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
18extend our congratulations to all of the University of Illinois 
19students and their advisors for their creativity and 
20inquisitiveness; and be it further

2presented to University of Illinois at Chicago Chancellor 
3Michael Amiridis, University of Illinois at Springfield 
4Chancellor Susan Koch, and University of Illinois 
5Urbana-Champaign Chancellor Robert Jones.
