HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate James Vargo on achieving 
4the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest and most coveted honor in 
5Scouting; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Through his dedication and hard work, James Vargo 
7has demonstrated that he lives by the
principles of the Scout 
8Oath and Law in his daily life, and that he has completed his 
9Eagle Service
Project, which is required to be of significant 
10value to the community; and
 
11    WHEREAS, James Vargo was tasked with clearing a large 
12portion of brush at
the Heritage Farm on Schaumburg and Plum 
13Grove Road; he co-ordinated eight
people working for five hours 
14straight with  only a short break for lunch; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, James Vargo sets a fine example for his peers and 
16friends through his leadership, hard work, and
commitment; and
  
 
  
17    WHEREAS, James Vargo currently attends Schaumburg High 
18School; he plans on attending Harper College for two years and  
19then
transferring  to the University of Illinois 
20Urbana-Champaign to become a nuclear engineer; and

1    WHEREAS, James Vargo will be honored at an Eagle Court of 
2Honor on April 29, 2018 at St. Hubert's Parish; therefore, be 
3it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
5HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
6congratulate James Vargo on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout 
7and for his dedication and determination in
achieving this most 
8prestigious of Scouting awards; and be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to James Vargo as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
