HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Kennison Adams of 
4Edwardsville on receiving the 2018 Prudential Spirit of 
5Community Award for her exemplary volunteer service; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Kennison Adams is a student at Edwardsville High 
7School; she earned the award by giving generously of her time 
8and energy to the Edwardsville Fire Department Explorer Post; 
9and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, The Prudential Spirit of Community Award, 
11presented by Prudential Financial in partnership with the 
12National Association of Secondary School Principals, honors 
13young volunteers across America who have demonstrated an 
14extraordinary commitment to serving their communities; and
  
 

  
15    WHEREAS, The success of the State of Illinois, the strength 
16of our communities, and the overall vitality of American 
17society depends in great measure upon the dedication of young 
18people like Kennison Adams, who use their considerable talents 
19and resources to serve others; therefore, be it
  
  
20    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
21HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we

1congratulate Kennison Adams on receiving the 2018 Prudential
