2    WHEREAS, The Greater Gateway Association of REALTORS was 
3chartered in 1943; and
  
 
4    WHEREAS, The Greater Gateway Association of REALTORS is 
5part of the
National Association of REALTORS and the Illinois 
6REALTORS; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, The Greater Gateway Association of REALTORS 
8services over 1,000 REALTOR
and business-affiliated partners 
9in the real estate industry; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, The Greater Gateway Association of REALTORS 
11serves as the first point of contact for REALTORS in Metro East 
12Illinois, covering
all or parts of Madison, Bond, Jersey, and 
13Calhoun counties, with members also in Macoupin, Montgomery,

14and Fayette counties; and
  
 
  
15    WHEREAS, The Greater Gateway Association of REALTORS helps 
16provide continuing education
opportunities, community 
17outreach, and advocacy for homeownership and property rights; 
18therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
20HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we

2they celebrate their 75th anniversary, and look forward to many
