HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Kyle Devery on achieving 
4the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank and most-coveted 
5honor in Scouting, on October 26, 2017; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Through his dedication and hard work, Kyle Devery 
7has demonstrated that he lives by the
principles of the Scout 
8Oath and Law; and
  
 
  
9    WHEREAS, For his Eagle Scout Service Project, Kyle Devery 
10designed, built, and installed new shelving units for storage 
11in the gym at Gigis Playhouse, a
Down Syndrome Achievement 
12Center in Hoffman Estates; an Eagle Scout Service
Project, is 
13required to be of significant  valve to the community; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Kyle Devery is a junior at St. Edward High School 
15in Elgin and is planning a career in law enforcement; he  plans 
16to attend Harper College for two years
and then transfer to a 
17four-year university; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Kyle Devery sets an example for his peers and 
19friends through his leadership, hard work, and
commitment; and
  
 
20    WHEREAS, Kyle Devery will be honored at an
Eagle Court of

1Honor on March 4, 2018 at St. Hubert's Parish; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
3HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
4congratulate Kyle Devery on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, 
5and we wish him the best in all his future endeavors; and be it 
6further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to Kyle Devery as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
