HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to recognize the Village of Hanover Park 
4on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of its founding; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, The Village of Hanover Park was incorporated on 
6August 14, 1958 and will be celebrating all throughout 2018 
7with a year of special events and celebrations; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, The celebration highlights the Ontarioville 
9Historic District which
has roots that date back to 1873 when 
10it was first settled; and
  
 
  
11    WHEREAS, The anniversary will be marked with a

12commemorative 60th anniversary logo combined with a new Village 
13of Hanover Park brand; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, The celebration honors the residents, volunteers,

15elected officials, and staff who work to maintain and enhance 
16the community; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
18HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
19recognize the Village of Hanover Park on the 60th anniversary 
20of its founding, and we wish it many more wonderful years; and
