HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to recognize WBNQ radio personality Susan 
4Saunders; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Susan Saunders has hosted the morning radio show 
6on WBNQ in Bloomington-Normal for 20 years; she is consistently 
7the highest-rated personality in the Twin Cities area; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, As of January 17, 2018, Susan Saunders will have 
9completed over 5,000 shows across both the WBNQ and WJBC radio 
10stations; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Susan Saunders has volunteered numerous hours 
12with St. Jude, the Brotherhood Tree, Make a Wish, and Path; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Susan Saunders was born and raised in Illinois; 
14she enjoys promoting her community and encouraging people to 
15buy locally; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Susan Saunders is proud to have made the 
17Bloomington-Normal area home for the past 20 years; therefore, 
18be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE

1HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
2wish to recognize Susan Saunders on her 20 years with WBNQ and 
3we wish her another wonderful 20 years; and be it further
  
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
5presented to Susan Saunders as an expression of our esteem and 
6respect.
