| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |

| 4 | | Lincoln-Broadwell Elementary School 7th and 8th grade girls |
| 5 | | basketball teams on winning their respective 2017 Illinois |
| 6 | | Elementary School Association State Championships; and

| 7 | | WHEREAS, The 7th grade girls basketball team won the Class |
| 8 | | 7-1A state championship with a 40 to 30 win over Sacred Heart |
| 9 | | School (Pana) in the championship game, completing an |
| 10 | | undefeated season of 26 wins and zero losses; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, The 7th grade team was led by Kloe Froebe with 19 |
| 12 | | points, Asia Sales with 10, and Tori Schilling with
nine; they |
| 13 | | were coached by by Kari Froebe, Cory Farmer, and Ashley Paulus; |
| 14 | | and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, The 8th grade girls basketball team matched their |
| 16 | | 7th grade counterparts by winning the Class 8-1A State |
| 17 | | Championship and capping off an undefeated season of 28 wins |
| 18 | | and zero losses; and
|
| 19 | | WHEREAS, The 8th grade team was led by Kloe Froebe with 21 |
| 20 | | points and Elly Martinez with 10; they were coached by Kari |
| 21 | | Froebe, Cory Farmer, and Ashley Paulus; and
|

the success of the teams; therefore, be |

| 14 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE |
| 15 | | HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 16 | | commend and applaud the West Lincoln-Broadwell Elementary |
| 17 | | School 7th and 8th grade girls basketball teams on their state |
| 18 | | championships, and on their humility and respect for one |
| 19 | | another on and off the basketball court; and be it further
