| 6 | | (IHSA) Class 2A State
Football Championship; and

| 7 | | WHEREAS, The Falcons defeated Maroa-Forsyth 38 to 32 in a |
| 8 | | thrilling game on
November 24, 2017 to win their first 2A State |
| 9 | | Championship in school history; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, In the semifinals, the Falcons defeated Newman |
| 11 | | Central Catholic, a
team with 17 consecutive 2A playoff |
| 12 | | appearances, by a score of 14 to 8; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, The Falcons went undefeated for the entirety of |
| 14 | | the season, finishing
with a record of 14 wins and zero losses; |
| 15 | | and

| 16 | | WHEREAS, The Falcons are led by Head Coach Mike Allen and |

| 17 | | football team, the Falcons, on winning the 2017 Illinois High |
